refers to events other than 4th of July

This booklet is likely the first promotional material prepared by the Mantua Land and Improvement Company to promote development of Wenonah (circa 1871).
One of the biggest activities of the Wenonah Lions Club is organizing the 4th of July Parade.
The venue for the Charter Ceremony was Club Shaguire, Airport Circle, Pennsauken, NJ.

Looking for 1904 events in Wenonah I found this one in The Philadelphia Inquirer.

This is the program for the 3rd graduating class at Gateway. Gateway serves four sending districts, National Park, Wenonah, Westville, and Woodbury Heights.
The first PDF is closer to the appearance of original. The second has been adjusted to make reading easier but takes a long time to load. Both can be searched for any term in them.

I had a wonderful dinner with my aunt Suegail Sargent yesterday down in CapeMay and she started to give me some of her Wenonah treasures. This morning I will share some! I still have a trunk to go through as well.

The feat of a detachment of Battery B, Field Artillery, of Camden. in constructing in six hours a 38-foot span bridge over the deep ravine which separates Wenonah from Sewell was witnessed by hundreds of interested spectators yesterday morning, and the men were warmly congratulated upon their achievement.
You go to bed and you never think that a railroad culvert might be gone in the morning when you wake up. The Mantua Creek had more water flowing through it than the culvert could hold. The culvert and a large part of the embankment were washed away and the trestle shown in the link below was built to support the rail line.

Check out the clipping the list below. There was a big washout in 1882 also.

People more familiar with the WHS collections may recognize this real photo post card, but it is new to me. I wonder if repairs to the railroad tracks were being made and everyone had to get transfer to buses when they reached Wenonah? If you know what was going on in the photo from what I estimate to be the 1940s please share your information. The card is currently available on ebay.
