A little bit about one student, Adele Langston.

Some may have heard of Langston's Lake or Langston's Pond, known to others as Comey's Lake -- just east of S. Princeton Ave. Rarely do you run into someone who has heard much about the Langston family who lived on S. Princeton. Samuel M. Langston and his wife Jessica didn't have his name out in public very often.

If you google

"Samuel Langston" Wenonah

most hits are his patents.

But he had a daughter, Adele, who may have attended an exclusive girls riding camp in Roxbury, Vermont. The Langstons were willing to have their names listed as endorsing the camp.

Adele went to Cornell and was president of her class at graduation. She went on to complete law school and married another lawyer, William P. Rogers, who went on to become Secretary of State under Nixon.

The 1935 yearbook for Camp Teela-Wooket is attached.

It's worth a look.

At the end of the year book is a list of people willing to answer questions about the camp, sorted by state and city.
