Wenonah Military Academy, Class of 1928, and Annual Push Ball Battle

1928 photo of the Wenonah Military Academy cadets beginning their annual pushball battle, which coincides with the coming of the first snow. (Wide World Photos, Philadelphia Bureau)

This photo distributed by "Wide World Photo" and printed in the "Buffalo Evening News" on Dec 12, 1928 bears the following caption:

Cadets of the Wenonah Military academy at Wenonah, Pa., [sic] made real use of the first snow storm there. The annual push ball battle is always held on this occasion.

Most likely they meant Wenonah, NJ, since there isn't a Wenonah, PA.
